Customer Support Secrets - Ask The Right Questions

As a customer service personnel, it is not advisable to make assumptions.  Be a good

listener by identifying a customer's needs, asking the right questions,  while you concentrate

on the answers. This is important because most customer complaints are very ambiguous

since they may be frustrated or having a bad experience. Once you ask them the right

questions, you know exactly where to handle their issue from.

Never Give Up On That Dream!

For the first time i read the announcement in church. Trust me i was nervous but after church the feedback was great! "You were so eloquent in your reading today" "Charley you did great!" "Well done, at today's announcement" - Some compliments from my Pastors and Rev.

These were some of the feedback i got. I say these to the glory of God.

LOVE IS.....!

Love is patient! ...Love is Kind!...Love is....!

Inspired by Mariah Carey's "I want to know what Love is", this song answers the questions; What is love? Who is love? and Where is love? Christ, of course, is the only answer to these questions. This song has a special meaning of what love is from God's perspective. "Love is..." is a masterpiece, incorporating the extremely moving chorus: "Love is the arms that are holding you" Love is what will see you through. Love takes old things and makes them new Love can never fail you. (Job 12:10-12 (MSG)

LOVE IS..... a soul touching piece and a powerful duet done by Kobina Annan and Gloria Ayettey. Backed by 'The Project' team and skillfully amazing set of musicians with AB on the drums, Bsharp on the Keyboards, Ominor on the guitars and Jay Mera on the horns.
Recorded live at the ONA records in Tema and co-produced by Ominor and Bsharp. This must-listen piece is written by Kobina Annan

In a chit chat with Kobbina, he mentioned that "..We want this song to make another statement about another direction of Christian music...It is our heartfelt desire that this song makes a statement about a different generation of Christians and let the world know what true love is from God's perspective..'

This groovy, jazzy single on true love is scheduled to be released on Valentine's Day (14th February 2017). For more information you can like Kobinna Annan on Facebook for updates on how to listen to the wonderful piece. I can't wait to listen to (what) LOVE IS.....

Don't forget to share what LOVE IS... to me in the comments below. I look forward to reading your thoughts.

Rest In Peace, Barima

I haven’t done a blog post of losing anyone apart from sharing updates on social media about how I lost my grannies. I actually did this post while sitting in the burial service of Barima.

Mixed emotions linger in my mind as I sit in a burial service of a very young man. This guy is just 26 years old. Same age as myself and few questions ponder on my mind.
Am I better than him?
Am I beautiful than he is?
Was I more graced than him....

Hhhmmmm the tears are logged in my eyes and I refuse to let it drop or reach for my handkerchief to do the cleaning.

The last time I was at a funeral of someone this young was when I lost my childhood friend, Nii some 5 years ago.

It is sad! Very sad! That a young man this age will leave his family after a short illness. Indeed he is in a better place. The rest is left to the rest of us alive.

I never had the opportunity to meet him, but my Bishop shared a few things about him in church last Sunday. Some weeks ago he also requested that as a church we remember him in our prayers, something he hasn't requested of us before however, I knew how this meant to him.

Few days before he passed he was led by the Holy Spirit to lead the young man and rededicate him to Christ because his time was near.
He passed the next day after accepting Christ.

What if he hadn't accepted Christ? What is his uncle wasn't a man of God to be directed by the Holy Spirit? What would have been of his soul?

I won't let this tear drop...its hard very hard..friends and family can't hold it. I am sitting here trying to be a 'hard girl'

His schoolmates took their turn to pay their respect. He is a Bleeooo (Old Student of Accra Academy Senior High School) guy! An Academician! That was what broke me! Gosh! My 'hardness' was gone.

I can hear sniffing and wailing in the crowd...I can feel the pain of this family. His mom was broken! No one could hold her! She was devastated! It was a very sad atmosphere.

Reality hits us all when the coffin is closed and covered.

Bishop began his message by sharing memories of his family and how growing up was like with his elder sisters, and how it was through his sister that he accepted Christ.
Now that Barima is gone and in a better place, it's left with us to give our lives to Christ. Bishop's sermon was very comforting. It gave us hope! (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)

It is my prayer that the loss of Barima will not bring pain and destitution but sweet memories and tranquility to his family.

Barima left behind both parents and 4 brothers.

May his soul Rest In Peace💔😢. Amen .

Secrets of Great Customer Support 1

Customer support is considered as one of the main data channels for customer satisfaction and a way to increase customer retention. In more and more companies, especially within the technology field, the responsibility for customer support is placed within the customer service team to ensure maximum customer satisfaction among their clients.

Customer support is more of an art than a science. Achieving the right state of mind should be your major priority to a great customer experience. One needs to be passionate about it rather than just doing it because yeah you need to manage a service. Every interaction with a customer is a unique opportunity to create a great experience working with you.

Once a customer likes a service and is satisfied, you can be sure he will keep coming back. However, if the service is poor, the customers is less likely to work with you again. Analysis have shown that, you need to actually delight customers and not to satisfy them (Gregg A Hawrylko, PMP).

Making Customers Feel Important
Another thing with dealing with customers is that you need to make every customer feel important. Why is this so appealing? You know everyone loves VIP treatment, no one likes to wait in line. Customers derive satisfaction from operating outside established processes; if you do all these for all customers in one way or the other, you make them feel important.

How To Make Customers Feel Important

A few ways you can make customers feel important in order to make them continually use your service

1.    Recall a good customer service experience
Treating customers with respect, personalized attention, greeting them with enthusiasm and going beyond to resolve any problems and issues can keep customers coming back.
Customers will always recall a good customer experience, because your service delivery was spot on. Also because it erases some kind of perception in their minds and this leaves a long lasting impression. Happy customers help spread positive word-of-mouth to family and friends.( Nicole Long: http://smallbusiness.chron.com)

2.            Use their names and find ways to compliment them, but be sincere - customers know.
In mastering the art of customer support, you will need to always make your customers feel like there is none other. It is also important that you save numbers of your customers. This helps you address them by their names the next time you have an interaction with them. Once you mention a customer by name, he begins to feel important and in place. He is then able to see you like a friend and tell you specifically what his issues are without doubt. This is good

3.            Your words, non-verbals and actions must all match and show that you care!
This needs to come in when you can tell by the voice of a customer that he is frustrated, disturbed or very worried. For Support services where you physically meet customers on a daily basis, your non verbal actions really matter to the customer. That tells him whether you are empathizing with him. Your tone of voice for customers you do not come into contact with, also helps. For instance, “..I am very sorry about that, but not to worry i am here because of you. As soon as i am done assisting you with this, you will be fine.”

4.            Think of ways to generate good feelings about working with you - bring passion to your job.
Like i mentioned initially, it is important that you are passionate about dealing with customers. Being passionate about this also means that there are times that you may need to spend extra hours just for the customer to be sure that he is satisfied with the service and will come back again.

If you handle customer's in your field of work, do not hesitate to share your experiences with me in the comments below on how you made/make customers feel important.

THE 12 NEW YEAR ATTITUDES THAT WILL DETERMINE YOUR END OF YEAR ALTITUDES, BY BISHOP GIDEON TITI-OFEI

1.THE WINDOW SHOPPERS' ATTITUDE

There are 3 groups of people who visit shopping malls:
- Thieves
- Window shoppers
- Real Shoppers

Thieves go there to steal, real shoppers go there to buy but window shoppers go there to admire.

Window shoppers are people who go to shopping malls and admire things on sale but are not ready to pay the price for the things they admire.

Life is like a mall and success is the product on sale. Every success you admire or you desire in life has a price tag. Window shoppers wants success on a silver platter. They love success but hate to pay the price for success.

This year refuse to be a window shopper. Be ready to pay the price for the success you desire.
It may cost you friends, your comfort zone, money, some sleep etc.
Philippians 4:13NKJV

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
