11 years after

Happy New Year to you all. I hope the new year has started on a good note? Mine is going well and i pray it continues till the end of the year. 2017 looks promising and fulfilling, as you know we are all feeling the wind of change (hehehehe not to sound political)

How many of you remember your friends from primary and Junior high school? I had fond memories of my childhood friends GOSH! the teasing, the embarrassments, hahahah i cant think far. .

2005 was the year i completed Grace Preparatory School located at Kaneshie first light just opposite Accra Academy Senior High School.(oh yes i am very small girl 😆) I attended the same school with my 3rd brother Divine,

Most of us who completed in 2015 had actually lost touch with each other right after the final paper of the 2015 BECE. A few month ago, a few of us decided to come together and form an old school group. Thanks to whatsapp group chats and Facebook, we are very much connected now.

As part of the official launch of GOSA 15(Grace Old Student Association) we organised to met at Marvels by kindly courtesy FNFGH  to get to meet each other, network and strategize as to how to implement our goals as an association.

We also introduced the executives of the associations and launched our constitution which will be adopted and will govern GOSA association.

One could imagine the joy in our eyes as we met each other. Catching up on old times ...a day was not enough.

All in all it was a great event after 11 long years. Even though the turnout was not as expected, we are hopeful that it isn't about the numbers, but as long as we can set our mind to it, we can all achieve what we want to in our own small ways.

I was delighted to host my friends and you know what; it felt good.! Truth was i had even forgotten some names but as soon as they were mentioned, i could quickly remember the faces.

At the end of the day we cut our cake and popped a champagne to seal the occasion. We also had some good food from Marvels...hhhmmm the taste of that black pepper is still in my throat.

In the coming month Dr. Ayorkor Adukpo, one of our colleagues will be getting married. Ayorkor i wish you all the best and God bless your Union. He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord (Proverbs 18:22). Congratulations once again.

Till then again, its your baby girl, Esenam

Much love, Cheers
